Mersey Maritime, the organisation set up to help push business growth in Merseyside’s maritime sector, hosted their 2018 Industry Awards on March 8th, with Merseyside Adventure Sailing Trust receiving the Positive Impact Award.
To quote Mersey Maritime, “this award [is] made to a business, maritime charitable organisation, or other enterprise whose remit or business model is to bring about positive measurable change, whether this is to the lives or living conditions of individuals, the community or in terms of campaigns, projects and initiatives that are changing perceptions about the industry.”
On behalf of all of those involved with MAST we’d like to extend our thanks to Mersey Maritime for their recognition through this award, we’re looking to the future with confidence that our impact in the Mersey area will only become greater through the coming years.
